What is Happening to Me?

I have recently come across a phenomenon that I never experienced in my life. What is this phenomenon you ask? I will tell you. I am anxiously awaiting the start of college basketball seaton. That's right, I am ready for college basketball to start.

This may not seem like a big deal to you, but it is for me. You see, college basketball has always been that sport that starts when college football is over. But since there have been some, well, bumps in the road for my Georgia Southern Eagles this football season, I am resigning myself to a new hope. That hope is college basketball. I can actually listen to my beloved Eagles on Sunday when they take on UC Davis in the CBE Classic at Cameron Indoor Stadium on the campus of Duke University and think we have a chance of winning. Something I am not currently able to do with the GSU football team. It is sad, but my hope switches over to basketball now. I will still root hard hoping that we can avoid the worst season in school history by winning one of our last two games, but it just isn't the same.

My hopes now swing to the Basketball Eagles. Here's hoping for an opening win on Sunday night. Go Eagles!!!

I'm Engaged!!!

In the midst of everything school, I have some very exciting "life" news. On Friday November 3rd, I asked my best friend and most amazing girl I know to marry me. In short, she said "YES". So, Raegan and I are getting married. We are both so incredibly excited about this. I am so looking forward to spending the rest of my life with such an incredible person whom I love so much. I LOVE YOU RAEGAN!
